Human Rights Commission comments on the death of Lyra McKee
Chief Commissioner Les Allamby commented:
“The Human Rights Commission is deeply saddened by the recent death of Lyra McKee. Freedom of the press is a fundamental human right. Journalists must have protection to report on issues of public importance. Our thoughts are with Lyra’s partner, family and friends at this time.”
